Night of Public Engagement

We are the Missouri River Valley (MRV) chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). We are Medical Physicists who are here to answer your questions about the field and to highlight new developments in the fight against cancer. Whether you are a student, a teacher, a tech geek or aspiring medical physicist, we are looking forward to your participation in this exciting night filled with presentations, questions, and trivia for middle schoolers through college and above. We'll also be awarding PRIZES! So get your game on! Please register for free here.
This year's guest speaker is AAAS IF/THEN ambassador, Dr. Jessica Fagerstrom.

Other Information
We will also be holding a Med Phys Slam and Early Career's Symposium. Please register for free here . Simply select 'Tickets' and choose General Public. Register separately per individual so we know who is in our audience. The topics discussed during this night will increase in level of complexity, but we do encourage college students and aspiring medical physicists to stay till the end for a deeper look at the field.
